Approach
I’ve spent most of my career on small teams, building products from the ground up and figuring things out as we go. I like getting my hands dirty, working closely with founders, product leaders, and engineers to tackle problems without obvious answers. I care deeply about the details, but I’m practical about constraints and not precious about my ideas. I’ve been through pivot h*ll and back, but the best stories rarely follow a straight line.
I spend a lot of time obsessing over pixels and flows, but I love getting away from the screen, too. Usually somewhere in the mountains, hiking with my dog Maverick or chasing a new trail-running PR. I’ll happily sit through 45 minutes of LA traffic just to try a new café or catch the latest A24 film at a historic theatre.
I’ve always been curious about the things humans create, the objects we surround ourselves with, and the stories they tell about us and those who came before us. Lately, I’ve been spending much of my free time exploring my own ideas with AI. There’s never been a better time to bring niche, sometimes crazy ideas to life.
